주염

쥐가 지나가면 죽소

냄새만 맡아도 죽소

1분 6초 만에 죽소——

그는 약 이야기를 늘여놓는다

얼마나 빨라요

그놈이 당신의 나와바리에서

도망 갈 수가 없어요

골목에서 나는 그의 약을 사지 않았다

그는 “1분 6초”라는 데이터

출처가 어딘지를 밝히지 않았다

하지만 나는 쥐새끼들이

정말 평생을 돌이켜 볼 수

없을 만큼 짧은 시간임을 상상할 수 있다

The Rat Cure

The rats walk by and die!

The rats sniff and die!

It only takes one minute and six seconds to kill!

Speaking of his poison , he said

What a short time

rats have no chance

to run wild on your territory

In the alley，I didn"t buy his poison

He didn"t explain either

how he measured that

"one minute and six seconds"

but I can imagine its shortness

so short that the rats may really have no chance

to reflect on their lives

RATTENGIFT

Ratten gehen nur vorbei und krepieren,

schnuppern und krepieren,

in einer Minute und sechs Sekunden –

er redet über sein Gift, so kurze Zeit,

sagt er, sie kommen gar nicht dazu,

wild herumzurennen bei dir.

In der Gasse. Hab sein Gift nicht gekauft,

er hat diese “eine Minute und sechs Sekunden”

auch nicht näher erklärt.

Aber ich kanns mir vorstellen, so kurz,

dass jede Ratte wirklich nicht einmal Zeit hat,

ihr Leben vorbeiziehen zu lassen.
